About Me
My Background
I am a mom of 2 boys: one who died at the age of 11 in 2003 and the other has blessed me with 2 wonderful grandchildren and their mothers - the daughters I never had. I live in Helena, Montana with my husband, our English Mastiff, Freya, and my cat, Loki. When I'm not traveling, I am dreaming of traveling and seeing the world! We spend our weekends exploring and having adventures, making memories and having fun ... even if only in our Beautiful home State of Montana.
How I Got Started
I was bitten with the travel bug when I was a child, seeing photographs of the people and places around the world triggered a deep desire to see and experience them first hand. My parents were not travelers and we did not take fancy vacations. I grew up in Los Angeles County, California, and we went to Disneyland at least once per year, and drove to see family in Washington State every year. As much I loved those things, I dreamed of International travel and learning about other cultures.
Top Destinations
My favorite places to visit so far have been Hawaii, Mexico, Tennessee, and many places here in Montana.
I look forward to sharing those pictures and experiences with you here on my site blog. I am excited to return to those destinations in the future and also experience many other locations around the world.
